Statewide is the superannuation industry fund for all South Australians, managing more than $1.7 billion of retirement savings on behalf of over 170,000 members.

Statewide is committed to providing simple, low cost superannuation to help members manage their financial needs throughout their working life and into retirement. As a profit-for-members industry fund, our focus is on maximising members' savings to help them achieve a financially secure retirement. Members can take advantage of a range of benefits including health insurance, access to financial planning at no cost and educational members seminars.

Employer members are provided with a range of payment and administration options, including Statewide's Clearing House, helping to make their superannuation administration more efficient and cost effective.

INVESTMENT OPTIONS  
Statewide Cash

To achieve consistent investement returns at or above what is otherwise obtainable on bank term deposits or similar investment products on an after-tax basis.
To achieve returns after tax and fees that exceed CPI increase in each year

Statewide Stable Growth To have lower risk over the long-term than the Statewide Growth option but with the expectation that returns will be lower over the long-term.
To achieve long-term rates of return and risk consistent with that of a diversified but conservative portfolio of assets that is tilted equally between defensive and growth assets.
To achieve returns after tax and fees that exceeds CPI increases plus 1.5% per annum on average over the long-term.
Statewide Growth (default option) Aims to achieve returns after tax and fees that exceed CPI increases plus 3% per annum on average over the long-term.
Statewide Aussie Choice

To maximise long-term investment returns but with less emphasis on diversifying assets to reduce shorter-term variation of returns.
To achieve long-term rates of return and risk consistent with that of a diversified portfolio of Australian assets that is tilted towards growth assets.
To achieve returns after tax and fees that exceeds CPI increases plus 2.5% per annum on average over the long term.

Statewide Shares

To maximise long-term investment returns but with less emphasis on diversifying assets to reduce shorter-term variation of returns.
To achieve long-term rates of return that are higher than the Statewide Growth Option but with an expectation of greater volatility on a year to year basis.
To achieve returns after tax and fees that exceed CPI increases plus 3.5% per annum on average over the long-term.

Statewide Socially Responsive To adopt a similar investment approach as that of the Statewide Growth option, except that the management of the listed equities components of the Socially Responsible investment choice of focus on the use of managers that construct portfolios on socially responsive grounds.
To achieve returns after tax and fees that exceed CPI increases plus 2.5% per annum on average over the long-term.
Statewide Bonds Aims to match returns from the UBS Australian Composite Bond Index.
Statewide Australian Equities Aims to moderately outperform the broad Australian listed equity market as measured by S&P/ASX300 Accumulation Index on an after tax and fees basis.
Statewide Overseas Equities Aims to moderately outperform the broad international listed equity market as measured by MSCI World ex-Australia Index with net dividends reinvested on an after tax and fees basis.
Statewide Indexed Where possible within Statewide's manager line-up, to provide index returns on a balanced (70% growth, 30% defensive) assets mix. Investments are made in index products relevant to the asset classes.
Statewide Target Return Aims to achieve after tax and fees returns that exceeds CPI increases plus 7% per annum on average over the long-term.
