Overview:	Maritime Super was formed by the merger of Stevedoring Employees Retirement Fund (SERF) and Seafarers Retirement Fund (SRF) on 1 March 2009. SERF was established in 1967 and the SRF in 1973. Both funds have long, proud histories of providing retirement security for the maritime industry.
