The Local Government Superannuation Scheme was established on 30 June 1997 by a Trust Deed made under an Act of NSW Parliament, for the purpose of providing retirement benefits for public sector employees of certain Local Government bodies in NSW. Under the Trust Deed, LGSS is divided into two pools of assets and six divisions. |
