HESTA is your national industry super fund for health and community services. With more than 600,000 members and 60,000 employers, HESTA looks after the super requirements of more Australians than any other fund specialising in the health and community services industry. HESTA has low fees and is run only to profit members. Members have access to extra benefits such as: low-cost income protection; lump-sum total and permanent disablement and death insurance; retaining your membership when you change jobs; discount health insurance; low-cost home loans and banking products and financial planning services from advisers who are not paid commissions. Everything we do at HESTA is aimed at enhancing our members’ retirement savings. By using more than 70 professional investment managers, HESTA aims to provide strong long-term returns for its members. |

Cash Plus |
This is our most conservative investment pool, aiming to provide stable returns slightly greater than those achieved by investing in cash alone. |

Core Pool |
This is our balanced option, aiming to optimise long-term returns while achieving short-term returns better than the 90-day bank bill rate (adjusted for tax). |

Shares Plus |
This option aims to provide higher long-term returns than Core Pool. It invests in a diversified portfolio that includes growth assets other than shares. |

Eco Pool |
Our socially responsible investment option aims to optimise long-term returns while investing in companies and property that demonstrate best practice environmental / sustainability performance within their industry sector, relative to their peers. |

Overseas Share Pool |
By investing purely in overseas shares, this option aims to achieve higher long-term returns than Core Pool and Shares Plus. |

By investing purely in Australian shares, this option aims to achieve higher long-term returns than most pools. |
