INVESTMENT OPTIONS

  Objectives

Ready made Investment Pools

Cash Plus

This is our most conservative investment pool, aiming to provide stable returns slightly greater than those achieved by investing in cash alone.

Core Pool

This is our balanced option, aiming to optimise long-term returns while achieving short-term returns better than the 90-day bank bill rate (adjusted for tax).

Shares Plus

This option aims to provide higher long-term returns than Core Pool. It invests in a diversified portfolio that includes growth assets other than shares.

Eco Pool

Our socially responsible investment option aims to optimise long-term returns while investing in companies and property that demonstrate best practice environmental / sustainability performance within their industry sector, relative to their peers.

Overseas Share Pool

By investing purely in overseas shares, this option aims to achieve higher long-term returns than Core Pool and Shares Plus.

Australian Share Pool

By investing purely in Australian shares, this option aims to achieve higher long-term returns than most pools.

Your Choice

HESTA members can choose from eight asset classes, which can be blended to create a tailored investment approach.
