Asset Super was established in 1987 and has over 8,000 participating employers and almost 12,500 members. Asset Super is a complying eligible choice fund as well as being a multi-industry, multi-occupation super fund, i.e. it applies to all industries and all occupations. The fund is also an approved Public Offer super fund, which means it can receive super contributions from any eligible employee, including the self-employed and meets all of the Government’s Fund Choice requirements. Asset offers 4 Blended Options and 6 Single Sector Options. Members can invest in one investment option or design their own strategy. Members can switch between investment options up to 4 times each financial year.

High Growth 91.4% Growth, 8.6% Defensive - To achieve a rate of return (after tax and investment management fees) that exceeds CPI increases by at least 3.5% pa over rolling 8 year periods
Medium Growth 70% Growth, 30% Defensive - To achieve a rate of return (after tax and investment management fees) that exceeds CPI increases by at least 3.0% pa over rolling 7 years periods
Stable Growth 35.5% Growth, 64.5% Defensive - To achieve a rate of return (after tax and investment management fees) that exceeds CPI  increases by at least 2.0% pa over rolling 4 year periods
Socially Responsible 74% Growth, 26% Defensive - To achieve a rate of return (after tax and investment management fees) that exceeds CPI  increases by at least 3% pa over rolling 5 year periods
Australian Shares Target is to outperform (before tax and after investment management fees) the return of the Australian Sharemarket (measured by the S&P/ASX 300 Accumulation Index) over rolling 5 year periods.
International Shares Target is to outperform (before tax and after investment management fees) the return of a composite benchmark consisting of 50% MSCI World ex Australian Index - unhedged, $A and 50% MSCI World ex Australia Index - hedged $A over rolling 5 year periods.
Property Target is to outperform (before tax and after investment management fees) the returns of the Listed Property Market (measured by 30% UBS Global Real Estate Investor Index, hedged into $A and 33% S&P/ASX 200 Property Trusts Accum. Index and 40% Mercer Unlisted Property Index) over rolling 5 year periods.
Australian Bonds Target is to match (before tax and after investment management fees) the return of the Australian Bond Market (measured by the UBS Composite Bond Index) over rolling 3 year periods.
International Bonds Target is to outperform (before tax and after investment management fees) the returns of the International Bond Market measured by the Barclays Capital Global Aggregate Bond Index hedged into $A) over rolling 3 year periods.
Cash To maintain the invested capital and to achieve a rate of return (before tax and investment management fees) comparable to that available on bank bills(measured by the UBSA bank bill index) over a 1 year period.
